個人的に、子連れの冬旅行って、季節的に一番難しいと思っています。
子供が風邪を引きがち、というのが一番の理由です。

Winter Travel: Recommended Hotels for Families with Children
Personally, I believe that winter travel with children is the most challenging season of all.
The main reason is that children are prone to catching colds. You can eliminate this worry by taking out travel cancellation insurance, so I highly recommend getting it.
Also, driving to snowy areas can be a high hurdle for many.
This time, “Tanpoko Mama” has chosen a winter travel destination based on a very demanding set of criteria:
- Accessible by train (not too far)
- Provides a free shuttle bus
- Relatively affordable (around 50,000 yen per night for the whole family)
- Has a play area that children will love
- Has a washing machine available

Booking limited express train tickets is a battle! Make sure to book them as soon as they are released on “Eki-net.” It seems everyone has the same idea, as tickets sell out very quickly.
